No. We partner with government, public-sector, philanthropic and hapori organisations alike. What every engagement shares is a commitment to handling data with integrity and care — kaupapa Māori practice benefits everyone.
In practical terms, it’s about who holds authority over data that relates to Māori — where it’s stored, who can access it, and how it’s used. We help you assess your current position and design clear, defensible arrangements that align with recognised Māori data principles.
No — the opposite. Every project is designed to leave your team capable of running things themselves. We’re happy to stay on for support if you want it, but it’s always your choice, never a dependency we engineer.
We design tikanga into the work from the start — clear agreements on consent, context and interpretation, so insights never lose the whakapapa and relationships behind them. Numbers are always read in their proper context.
We’re based in Ōtautahi Christchurch and partner with organisations across Aotearoa. We work kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face) where it matters, and remotely where that serves you better.
